Manufacturing Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Responsibility:

Location: Multimatic Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Markham, Ontario, Canada

In order for MAMT to continue to lead the industry, it is critical that the highest quality manufacturing be delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Review request sheets from each department, prepare kits containing required items, and ensure timely distribution.
• Replenish consumable items at all stations daily, maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Conduct routine physical inventories to uphold accurate inventory records.
• Receive goods and materials, ensuring proper storage in designated racks or bins.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for accessibility and efficiency.
• Provide updated records of received and dispensed items.

Shipping and Receiving Support:

• Serve as backup in shipping/receiving operations as needed.
• Package goods securely for shipping and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Log all shipments accurately to track inventory movement.

Basic Requirements:

• Two years shipping and receiving experience
• Possess a valid lift truck license
• Must speak, read and write fluent English
• Basic computer experience (MRP system)
• MS Office Skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Accurate data entry skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize workload
• To be able to work in a team environment

Hours of Work:

• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday
• Occasional flexibility needed
