Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has just completed the a multi-phase resort transformation , including all new venues, refreshed spaces, and evolving service models. Restaurant, Bar & Guest Services teams will be working in newly renovated spaces, with updated layouts, technology, and guest flow.

Job Description

we invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new In Room Dining Server. At Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory. As an In Room Dining Server providing warm service, efficiency and knowledge of our menu offerings to both guests and Colleagues, you will add value to every transaction! 

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Providing friendly, efficient Food & Beverage service in accordance with the standards set out by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, while making guests feel comfortable in their room
• Ensuring timeliness of In Room Dining deliveries, tray pick-ups and ice calls
• Reporting any irregularities or comments from guests
• Ensuring that a clean, tidy and safe environment is maintained at all times, including maintenance and upkeep of vehicles
• Serving guest room functions as required
• Delivering VIP amenities and other related duties

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Food & Beverage serving experience an asset
• Micros POS experience an asset
• Proserve qualification required
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work well with minimal supervision
• Must be responsible, reliable and have excellent attention to detail
• Must have strong English communication and organizational skills
