Journey Northaven is a yoga and nature retreat located at the East edge of Jasper National Park in Alberta. We offer a myriad of services and retreats for our customers. From yoga classes and nature education to our cold plunge and sauna space, we offer a place where people can escape the hustle of life.

DUTIES OF THE FRONT DESK

As a front desk receptionist of Journey Northaven, you will be responsible for greeting guests, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining a neat and professional lobby area, as well as taking payments and processing transactions. This position is for the summer season with the potential to expand and be a part of our company's growth. You may be asked to assist in other areas of the business as needed.

Duties:- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately- Provide information about facilities, services, and local attractions- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner- Assist with reservations and room assignments- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions- Maintain a clean and organized facility- Collaborate with other staff to ensure guest satisfaction- Upsell amenities and services to enhance the guest experience

Requirements:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Background and experience in yoga, health and wellness- Multilingual abilities are a plus- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic math calculations- Proficient in using technology for reservations, check-ins, and other front desk operations- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.42 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
