Job Summary

We are currently looking for physically strong and reliable Heavy Lifters to join our food production team. The successful candidates will be responsible for lifting, moving, mixing, and handling large quantities of dough and raw materials in a cold, temperature-controlled production environment.

This position requires excellent physical stamina, the ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and food production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and move heavy containers of dough and raw materials.
• Assist with dough mixing and preparation according to production requirements.
• Load and unload ingredients and dough into mixing equipment.
• Operate or assist with industrial dough mixers and related production equipment.
• Transfer dough between production areas safely and efficiently.
• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Follow production instructions and meet daily production targets.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Perform other general production and material-handling duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in food production, bakery, manufacturing, or heavy labour is an asset.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a cold or temperature-controlled environment .
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy materials.
• Good physical stamina and manual strength.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Food manufacturing experience is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy dough containers and ingredients.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, hardworking, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a cold food-production environment . Previous experience handling dough, operating mixers, or working in a bakery or food manufacturing facility is highly preferred.
