Feisty Operations Director

Interim Position : 18 month maternity leave

About The Role

Feisty is seeking an experienced Operations professional to step into a critical interim role covering an 18-month maternity leave. This is a hands-on, high ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment who knows how to turn vision and ideas into operational reality.

You’ll be the operational backbone of Feisty: the person who understands how our systems work, keeps people and projects on track, and supports our leadership team. You’ll own projects from 0-1, manage two key staff members, and actively identify realistic opportunities against ambition. Additionally, you’ll be the relationship manager of key stakeholders including Sponsors and Partners in the Feisty ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of new products, programs, courses, and events. You’ll define project scope, map out execution plans, and assign clear ownership. You'll keep the team aligned and on schedule, proactively surface and resolve any roadblocks, and take full accountability for bringing each product to life.
• Provide an operational perspective on all products and programs at Feisty, from conception through final launch, advising on feasibility within existing systems and setting realistic, achievable timelines.
• Act as subject matter expert on our tech stack (Active Campaign, Wordpress, and various other platforms), including training and supporting junior team members and troubleshooting.
• Lead our Customer Success team member, reviewing customer communications and suggesting improvements to the customer journey.
• Own the sponsor relationship lifecycle at Feisty: Pitching Feisty to prospective partners, creating proposals, maintaining an inventory of partnership opportunities, coordinating deliverables between sponsors and internal teams, and managing invoicing and tracking.
• Manage Feisty’s internal operational systems including G-Suite and Asana.
• Provide operational reporting on products, programs and sponsorship.

About You

• You have 5-10 years of relevant operations experience, ideally in a start-up or scale-up operations role.
• You’re a self-starter with an entrepreneurial, get-it-done mindset, comfortable owning things from 0 to 1 and building/maintaining SOPs in a smaller, fast-moving organization.
• You have proven experience managing websites and email marketing platforms, with the ability to quickly understand new systems, spot when something's misconfigured, and troubleshoot effectively.
• You’re a strong problem-solver with a systems mindset. You’re able to evaluate what's realistically achievable against the broader vision, and genuinely energized by bringing other people's ideas to life rather than generating your own.
• You’re a clarity-seeker who thrives on defining ownership across projects and can navigate disagreement on direction or roles with confidence and diplomacy.
• You have post secondary education in a related field

Location & Logistics

• Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Victoria, BC, though remote candidates in other areas of BC and Alberta will also be considered.
• Start date: As early as September 14, 2026, and by September 28, 2026 at the latest.
• Engagement length: approximately 18 months.
