Director of Business Development in Finance

Squires Resources Inc

Lead revenue growth as a Director of Business Development for a financial software company. This full-time remote position involves hands-on sales while mentoring a small team. Our client, a key technology provider in Bermuda's financial sector, seeks a proven sales leader with over 10 years of B2B software experience, ideally in financial technology. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, managing sales cycles, and nurturing client relationships. You will coach 1-2 sales professionals in addition to driving personal sales performance. Key Responsibilities:

Drive new business in financial services and insurance sectors
Mentor 1-2 sales professionals on pipeline discipline
Develop and execute account growth strategies
Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers

Requirements:

10+ years in B2B software sales, financial technology preferred
Experience with Sage Intacct or Workiva is advantageous
Proven track record of meeting revenue targets
Comfortable working remotely from Canada
Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
