Banking Strategy Manager

You Are: A Strategy Consulting guru with tons of experience in setting the growth and transformation agendas within the Banking Industry. Your expertise includes working with the management team and senior leadership to advise clients on data-driven strategies to transform their business operations or business model so they can crush their strategic, financial, and operational goals. As a manager, you're a natural at building and bringing out the best in teams. And you're a problem's worst nightmare, thanks to your prodigious analytical and creative chops. Communication and people skills, you have both in spades, along with a strong desire to work in an information systems environment.

The Work:

• Run delivery of projects to get the lay of the land of clients' position in the financial services and insurance industries to find their best business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
• Head up teams to deliver world-class business, operations, and technology strategy solutions that meet the needs of clients in the industries.
• Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create strategic solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.
• Lead project delivery to make sure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps for carrying out strategy, managing change, monitoring and gauging processes, and taking remedial steps.
• Provide overall guidance on quantitative analysis and research to generate recommendations and insights and drive outcomes
• Build relationships with clients to sustain Accenture's profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
• Fortify Accenture's Strategy practice and role as a thought leader by creating content and taking part in professional forums, both internal and external.
• Mentor junior members of the Strategy team and groom them for more responsibility.
• Travel Monday - Thursday may be required based on client demand. Accenture promotes a client-centric, flexible work environment.

Here's What You Need:

• Minimum 5 years of Strategy consulting experience from a Tier 1 consulting firm
• Minimum 4 years of experience working at the intersection of Business and Technology (Operating Models, digital disruption)
• Practical knowledge and understanding of Analytics and Digital technologies
• Understanding of what is takes for a strategy to be executed
• Must have a high-level understanding on how ecosystems fit into the digital world, and how digital technology is changing business
• Well networked with client executives in the Canadian Corporate landscape
• Demonstrated ability to leverage network and experience to originate opportunities, pipeline, and Consulting deals
• Experience running large complex transformative programs
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team- oriented environment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to prioritize the issues and present solutions
• Ability to shape a value proposition
• Ability to hold conversations with C-suite level clients
