Retail Sales Associate

Do you all things outdoors? Are you a people person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone? We are looking to hire Retail Sales Associates for the upcoming season. The Retail Sales Associate helps customers while they shop, answers questions, selection of rental equipment and assists in daily store operations. In this role, you serve as a representative of the retail brand and play an essential role in the store’s overall success. Compensation Information: $19.35 per hour

Physical Requirement: Light; work activities involve handling loads up to 10kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:

• Experience with retail sales and operations.
• Understanding of technical outdoor apparel and equipment.
• Confident, self-motivated and able to maintain an outgoing, positive attitude.
• Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service (external and internal customers).
• Reasonable understanding of Microsoft Office and computerized Point-of-Sale systems.
• A community-focused mindset and a passion for outdoors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to all resort guests and employees.
• Ensure outlets are well stocked and retail inventory is kept secure.
• Keep outlets clean, tidy and well merchandised.
• Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to according to SPRLLP guidelines and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all SPRLLP policies are adhered to as outlined in the current Employee handbook.
