Zurich Canada is currently looking for a post-secondary student for a cyber insurance department Coop position to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives.

You will work under direct supervision and perform requested tasks alongside experienced professionals. This opportunity is part of our internship program and is also open to Co-op students.

What you will do

• Provide general project support given by manager
• Support the daily activities of the cyber insurance department with risk analysis on specific accounts
• Work individually or in a team, and follow directions from your manager/mentor
• Some co-op students may need to help the company with in-depth research and filing of records

Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program, and will be enrolled in the upcoming semester (ideally entering 3rd or 4th year), ideally in a business/commerce, risk management, or insurance related program.
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred: 

• Demonstrated problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Excel and PowerPoint experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, punctual, professional and able to work independently

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is 48,000 - 58,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate’s skills and experience.
