Seize the chance to lead as a Principal Geoscientist at Eldorado Gold in Saskatoon, focusing on regional projects and sustainable exploration practices. This full-time role combines technical excellence with team leadership.
In this pivotal role, you will direct the exploration strategy for the McIlvenna Bay project, one of Canada's key copper development initiatives. Your vast experience—minimum 15 years in mineral exploration, including significant base metal results—will be crucial as you mentor a proficient team and influence exploration success across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive regional exploration strategies
• Execute and rank exploration target developments
• Monitor and report on competitor regional activities
• Provide mentorship to the geoscience team
• Produce technical reports and regulatory documentation
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD in Geosciences preferred
• 15+ years in mineral exploration experience
• Strong knowledge of covered terrains
• Proven examples of successful project execution
• Commitment to corporate health and safety policies
