Registered Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation and distribution of medications while supporting pharmacists and providing excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of medication safety and professional practice.

Qualifications

Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent recognized education
Successful completion of the applicable Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) requirements
Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Current professional liability insurance, as required
Strong knowledge of Ontario pharmacy legislation, standards, and regulations
Experience with pharmacy management software such as Kroll is an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a pharmacy team
Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset
