Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do:Model and champion Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles, fostering a strong customer-focused and
results-driven culture.
Supervise team members to maintain efficient operations and high customer service standards.
Support and guide daily retail operations, including merchandising execution, inventory management, and team coordination.
Monitor sales, labour costs, and store performance.
Support hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required.
Support team development through coaching, training, and recognition to enhance accountability and customer service.
Administer cash management, deposits, daily reporting, and Point-Of-Sale System operations.
Implement promotions, upselling strategies, and seasonal product displays to drive revenue.
Conduct inventory counts, audits, and loss prevention procedures.
Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally, ensuring elevated levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Respond to emergencies, staffing shortages, or operational issues as needed.
Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations
relating to tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
Champion and ensure compliance with all safety, asset protection, and operational policies and procedures.
Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
Perform all other duties as required.
