Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health

Join Homewood Health as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, specializing in mental health care. This pivotal role at Homewood Health Centre lets you utilize over three years of Nurse Practitioner experience to perform in-depth health assessments and create individualized treatment plans. Collaborating with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure that care meets professional standards and respects each patient's values. Your involvement is key to fostering therapeutic relationships that support recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough health assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on effective patient management
- Facilitate early assessment and intervention strategies
- Document patient care accurately in line with professional standards
- Nurture a therapeutic environment for patients and families
- 3+ years of NP experience, preferably in psychogeriatrics
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Master's degree in Nursing necessary
- Membership in organizations such as NPAO or RNAO
- CPR certification and knowledge in crisis intervention
