Senior Software Specialist in Gatineau

KWESST seeks a Senior Software Specialist to support the Canadian Armed Forces in Gatineau, QC. Engage in software architecture and development with a focus on Command and Control solutions.
This on-site position calls for a highly skilled individual with at least 12 years of experience in software engineering within Client/Server or Collaborative environments. The ideal candidate will oversee design and implementation of military applications, ensuring reliability and scalability. This key role contributes directly to developing cutting-edge software for Canada's defense.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage software systems analysis and design processes
• Provide software integration and evaluation support
• Recommend system level solutions for discrepancies and changes
• Liaise with technical groups for system performance
• Conduct software integration testing and technical reviews
Requirements:
• 12+ years in software engineering or related fields
• Active Secret security clearance is mandatory
• Advanced C# and .NET experience within ADO
• Deep understanding of DevOps methodologies
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Blazor frameworks
