High Rise Project Manager Gatineau

Your new company  

A well‑established construction builder is seeking a Project Manager to deliver large‑scale high‑rise and complex building projects across the Ottawa–Gatineau market. Projects range from multi‑residential towers to institutional and commercial builds in both the public and private sectors.

Your new role  

This role is well suited for a hands‑on PM with strong financial acumen who wants broader responsibility across project execution, client coordination, and reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre‑construction through close‑out
• Manage cash flow, budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
• Prepare and present monthly reports and financial updates
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Maintain schedules, change management, and risk controls
• Ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, and specifications

Project Scale & Scope

• High‑rise multi‑residential developments
• ICI projects (institutional, public, and private sector)
• Complex schedules, multiple stakeholders, and long‑term project horizons
• Projects delivered in collaboration with consultants, trades, and internal teams
• Gatineau‑based, with projects across Quebec and Ontario
• Ability to work across jurisdictions is an advantage

What you'll need to succeed  

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in building construction
• Proven exposure to high‑rise and/or mid‑rise projects
• Strong understanding of project financials (cost tracking, forecasting, cash flow)
• Experience working in Gatineau or Quebec, with Ontario experience considered a strong asset, bilingualism in French and English is required. 
• Clear communicator with strong organizational skills
• Post‑secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field
