Director of Sales
North Nova Seafoods
We are seeking a result- driven and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts, expand our global reach, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our company.
The Role
As the Director of Sales you will work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth. You will manage existing client relationships, develop new markets, and lead a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform business development and establish seafood markets with international clients
- Manage and grow existing client relationships
- Develop new clients through strategic sales programs
- Lead and manage the sales team with performance measurements
- Execute strategic plans for sustainable company growth
- Ensure product costing, pricing, and margins are optimal
- Collaborate on orders, shipments, and logistics with head office
- Represent the company at industry events and meetings
Qualifications
- Proven sales leadership experience in seafood or related industry
- Strong international market knowledge and network
- Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills
- Experience managing and developing sales teams
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
