Canadian Aml Compliance Officer

Lead Ramp’s Canadian AML program using FINTRAC expertise, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening as a standalone compliance leader. Protect RBCC’s MSB entity.As Money Laundering Reporting Officer, you will own RBCC’s AML/ATF compliance program under Canadian legislation. You will make suspicious transaction reporting decisions, manage regulatory relationships, and support Canada’s expansion. The role combines compliance leadership, fintech payments knowledge, AI fluency, and independent judgment.Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and assess RBCC’s AML/ATF programManage FINTRAC correspondence, reporting, and examination readinessDetermine and file Suspicious Transaction ReportsInvestigate transaction monitoring and sanctions screening alertsRefresh risk assessments as products and geographies evolveRequirements:
Eight or more years in financial services compliance or AMLDeep knowledge of FINTRAC expectations and regulationsExperience interfacing directly with regulators and bank partnersAI fluency and experience scaling AML programsExperience building early-stage AML programsApply your FINTRAC knowledge, AML leadership, and fintech experience to protect Ramp’s Canadian operations.
