Lead Canadian tax strategy and compliance as a full-time Tax Director guiding teams, clients, and complex accounting engagements.This executive-level position leads the tax team at a growing accounting firm. You will oversee Canadian federal and provincial compliance, tax filings, and planning. The work includes client advisory, tax issue investigation, team leadership, and creative solutions across domestic tax assignments.Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate processes and develop proactive tax strategiesAddress complex Canadian tax issues for clientsLead domestic tax projects and quality controlReview corporate, trust, and estate tax returnsLiaise with Canada Revenue Agency and ministriesRequirements:
Complete the in-depth Tax Program and specialist coursesBring 10+ years of public accounting or tax consulting experienceDemonstrate extensive Canadian Tax knowledgeShow proven people management and leadership skillsUse Microsoft Office, Excel pivot tables, and v-lookups proficientlyApply Canadian tax expertise, strategic planning, and leadership to guide clients and domestic tax teams.
