Drive HR innovation remotely as a Fractional HR Leader with Global Rail Group. Support leadership with practical HR structures and compliance across Canada and the U.S. In this ongoing, flexible part-time role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and North American leadership team on people and organizational matters. With 20 years of HR experience, you will enhance HR governance and support a project-based workforce. Your expertise will help shape key HR initiatives aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise CEO and leadership team on HR strategies
- Strengthen HR policies, processes, and governance
- Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. employment laws
- Develop effective HR practices for remote teams
- Coach managers on performance and employee relations
- 20 years of HR or related experience
- Deep knowledge of North American employment practices
- Proven advisory and coaching skills for executives
- Hands-on in HR structure design for remote workforce
- Experience in rail or consulting environments preferred
