ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Inside Sales Representative to support our outside sales team and ensure smooth day-to-day sales operations. This role involves managing inbound and outbound sales calls, processing customer orders, maintaining accurate sales records, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable with both customer interaction and data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist outside sales representatives by handling inbound customer inquiries and processing sales orders.
• Make outbound calls to existing and potential retail customers to follow up on orders, offer promotions, and strengthen relationships.
• Provide product recommendations and pricing information based on customer needs.
• Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team.
• Accurately enter customer orders into the system and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Assist with preparing sales materials, proposals, and product catalogs.
• Support marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns and promotional calls.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support (retail or wholesale preferred).
• Strong phone communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in data entry and order processing systems (CRM, ERP, or similar software).
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with sales databases.

Knowledge in Retail/Value add food product is an asset

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Office-based role with regular phone and computer work .
• Monday to Friday / 7.30am - 4.00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
