Commissary Clerk

**JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE MINE SITE in Northern Saskatchewan. STARTING ASAP.

**WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight/shuttle out of Saskatoon, P.A., certain communities), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS.

**SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED; WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.

**MUST PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.

**REQUIRES A VALID CLASS 5 DRIVER'S LICENSE.

The Commissary Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of the lodge commissary & provides administrative and operational support to the housing & lodge administration teams. The role combines guest service, inventory management, basic facility oversight, & support for new employee onboarding.

- Open, operate, & close the commissary during scheduled service periods.
- Serve guests, process purchases, & maintain a clean and organized retail area.
- Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, & maintain orderly product displays.
- Perform daily cleaning of commissary floors, counters, coolers, & shelving.
- Complete daily cash reconciliation & ensure till balances at end of shift.
- Conduct scheduled inventories including office supplies, commissary stock, linens, uniforms, & chemical/paper products.
- Maintain inventory records & scan completed documents into SharePoint.
- Assist Lodge Administration with preparing key envelopes, cutting keys, & managing key returns.
- Support general administrative tasks as assigned by the Lodge Manager or Lodge Administrator.
- Coordinate arrival logistics for new employees, including meeting inbound flights when required.
- Provide site orientation tours & assist with room access and uniform distribution.
- Introduce new hires to supervisors & management, and direct them to training locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of emergency exits, signage, eye wash stations, CO monitors, & lint traps.
- Assist Housing Managers with room checks & general facility oversight.
