Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Infinite Outsourcing Solutions is currently hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to lead multiple high-priority, complex, and long-term technology projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning to implementation, delivery, and post-project evaluation, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects and achievement of expected business outcomes and benefits.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle from project initiation through implementation and final delivery.
• Lead, plan, manage, implement, and deliver complex technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Manage multiple high-complexity projects concurrently while maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets.
• Promote effective cross-functional collaboration, communication, organizational performance, health and safety, and continuous learning.
• Engage stakeholders to identify, define, and manage project objectives and required outcomes.
• Establish effective project governance and oversight structures.
• Ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement and support throughout project execution.
• Develop project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource plans.
• Build consensus among stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
• Plan, implement, and deliver business and system solutions within complex and evolving environments.
• Monitor project budgets regularly and ensure financial accountability.
• Identify, evaluate, document, and mitigate project risks, issues, constraints, and dependencies.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows while ensuring business participation and sign-off.
• Implement and manage an effective change management and change request process.
• Provide ongoing communication and status updates to Project Sponsors, Business Project Owners, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports on project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners and cross-functional teams.
• Lead implementation planning and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
• Proven experience in business requirements gathering, project planning, implementation, and project evaluation.
• Demonstrated success managing projects of increasing size, scope, and complexity.
• Proven track record of delivering projects from initiation through planning, implementation, and post-project evaluation.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience identifying and mitigating project risks and resolving complex issues.
• Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer-service orientation and relationship management skills.
• Adaptable problem solver with excellent leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively under pressure.
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Technical Skills

• Experience managing IT infrastructure and hardware-related projects, including:
  • POS (Point of Sale) upgrades
  • Firewall implementations and upgrades
  • Network switch upgrades
• Advanced proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Visio

Additional Requirements

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered an asset.
