We’re looking for our next Senior Product Marketing Manager. Could It Be You?

In this role, you'll own how we bring our trading platforms and tools to market for Canada's most active traders.

You’ll sit at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer experience — shaping positioning for the surfaces active traders live in: Questrade Pro, Flows, MCP connectivity, options, and real-time market tools. You’ll partner with product to influence the roadmap based on how serious traders actually behave, and you’ll turn deep market and customer insight into stories that land with people who trade on conviction and speed.

This is a role for a PMM who understands active traders — what they demand from a platform, how they judge execution, and why they switch. From early ideation through launch and optimization, you’ll lead go-to-market strategy, inform pricing and packaging, and make the case for why Questrade is the platform built for how they trade.

Our team’s success will be measured by:

Positive P&L by product and business line performance

Increase in defined customer engagement metrics and acquisition targets

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Owning end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new trading features, platform enhancements, and pricing moves. Ground every launch in trader research and tie it to measurable outcomes — trade volume, active-trader adoption, engagement, and revenue.

Building positioning that articulates a clear edge for active traders across the journey. Translate platform capability, execution, tooling, connectivity, cost — into sharp, benefit-led messaging that respects how sophisticated this audience is. No jargon, no hand-holding.

Leading research into active-trader behavior — interviews, surveys, usability testing, and close competitive analysis of the platforms serious traders compare us to. Turn what you learn into concrete recommendations for product, pricing, and positioning.

Partnering with Product, Growth Marketing, Brand, Sales, Customer Experience, and Compliance to build a coherent experience for active traders. Be the hub connecting trader insight, platform capability, and marketing execution.

Working with Lifecycle Marketing on journeys that drive activation, trading frequency, and retention among active traders. Supply the product insight and messaging behind onboarding, feature-adoption campaigns, and trader education.

Defining success metrics for trading launches and campaigns. Partner with Analytics to track adoption, trading activity, and feedback, and use the data to keep sharpening positioning, messaging, and go-to-market.

Have 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, brokerage, or trading platforms

Have a proven track record launching products that drive adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes

Have fluency in the active-trading space; you understand traders' expectations around execution, tools, market data, options, and cost, and can translate platform capability into a compelling narrative

Have deep customer focus; you engage with traders regularly and turn what you hear into positioning that resonates

Have pride in being the voice of the active trader when they're not in the room, advocating for their needs in product and strategy decisions

Have exceptional project management ; you lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and hit ambitious deadlines

Have a metrics-driven approach; you define KPIs, build measurement frameworks, and use data to decide and to show impact

Have strong performance in fast-paced environments, a bias for action, and clear ownership of outcomes

Have strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $150,000 - $170,000

The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
