JOB TYPE: Permanent part-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation, Other, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent maintains unit equipment, ensures adequate supplies are stocked, and attends to patient comfort and transport. They assist nursing staff with routine unit tasks and deliver samples, medications, records, and other items to the appropriate areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Patient Handling for Healthcare Workers training or obtain it as per set time frame;
• Successful completion of unit-specific training as per set time frame;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
