Join the Out of Hours Urgent Care team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Aberdeen Health Village. This role offers flexibility and focuses on providing urgent medical care without appointments.
We are recruiting an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Band 7) to support our innovative Walk‑In Service. This role involves delivering same‑day access to urgent care and requires a solid background in clinical assessment. You will work autonomously, providing high‑quality care and collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnose urgent medical conditions
- Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses
- Collaborate with physicians and the clinical leadership team
- Drive service improvement initiatives and education
- Engage in service audits to enhance care quality
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification required
- Demonstrated independent prescribing abilities
- Relevant experience in urgent or primary care
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings
