Mechanical Engineer - Heat Transfer Authority

Become a Mechanical Engineer specializing in heat transfer equipment in Edmonton, Alberta. Empower greenfield and brownfield projects with your technical expertise and leadership skills. As the Principal Mechanical Engineer, your focus will be on advanced heat transfer solutions across diverse projects. This position stands as a key technical authority, managing the selection, design, and implementation of thermal systems. You will also mentor less experienced engineers while collaborating with global teams on project execution and standards compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the authority on heat transfer equipment projects
- Direct engineering activities for heat exchangers and thermal systems
- Ensure quality and consistency in technical deliverables
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers
- Collaborate with vendors on project specifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration required
- Comprehensive experience in heat transfer engineering
- Strong understanding of codes like ASME and TEMA
- Proven track record in leading technical projects
