Ottawa Senior Reliability Engineer - IVD

Transform medical device engineering as a Senior Reliability Engineer based in Ottawa, Ontario. This pivotal role focuses on the design and execution of reliability strategies in the IVD sector. In this position, you will apply over 10 years of reliability engineering expertise, specializing in regulated hardware environments. You'll work collaboratively with R&D and QA teams to develop reliability requirements, perform risk assessments, and execute comprehensive lifecycle and reliability tests. Your insights will drive compliance and performance in product development. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement reliability strategies for IVD medical devices
- Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, and reliability assessments
- Perform HALT and lifecycle testing for product verification
- Analyze data using Weibull and lognormal methods
- Collaborate to ensure Design for Reliability compliance
- 10+ years in product reliability engineering (MedTech)
- Extensive experience with DFMEA and life data analysis
- Proficient in Minitab and familiarity with Python or MATLAB
- Deep understanding of regulatory standards
- Experience in IVD industry essential
