Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Optician or Optometric Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional eye care services and support to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures- Perform pre testing- Prepare examination rooms for optometrists- Maintain accurate patient records and input data into electronic health records systems- Assist with contact lens insertion, removal, and care instructions- Educate patients on eyewear options and help with frame selection- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance coverage
Skills:
- Experience in optical setting is required- Background in retail management or sales is a plus- Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay: $17.40-$29.00 per hour
