Vice-President of Health and Safety

Drive safety excellence as the Vice-President of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality at Air Liquide in Montréal. Lead strategic initiatives and foster a culture of compliance across Canada. As a key member of Air Liquide's leadership team, you will oversee HSEQ initiatives across the Canada Division. You'll develop and implement strategies, manage risks, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. With a focus on cultivating a robust safety culture, your role will significantly impact operational performance and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Champion a strong safety culture through effective programs
- Direct hiring, training, and performance management of HSEQ team
- Represent Airgas in regional regulatory audits and issues
- Assist legal counsel with litigation on safety-related matters
- Develop HSEQ strategy in collaboration with regional leaders
- Bilingual in French and English for team support
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of safety and compliance leadership experience
- Proven track record in safety initiative implementation
- CRSP certification preferred
