Gifted Learners AIG Education Specialist

Become a key figure in advanced education as a Gifted Learners AIG Education Specialist at Onslow County Schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. Focus on enriching gifted students' educational journeys. The AIG Specialist is responsible for providing specialized instruction to gifted learners and enhancing the educational practices in collaboration with teaching staff. In this role, you will evaluate student progress, design enrichment programs, and manage educational differentiation to meet diverse student needs while promoting advanced learning opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Tailor instruction to meet the needs of gifted students
- Develop and implement Differentiated Educational Plans
- Organize and execute enrichment activities to spark student engagement
- Collaborate with teachers for effective learning strategies
- Ensure compliance with educational records and assessment requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
- Valid North Carolina teaching license or ability to obtain one
- NC AIG Licensure
- Strong understanding of differentiation for gifted education
- Capable of meeting physical requirements of the role
