Nanny Wanted - Looking For Full Or Part Time Support

We are a family of four in Port Credit looking for reliable, caring and organized childcare support for our two school-aged children (ages 7 and 9). We recognize that a split morning/afternoon schedule doesn’t work for everyone, so we are open to several different arrangements depending on the right candidate’s availability. We would be happy to find one person who wants both mornings and afternoons, or hire separate people for each. Option 1: Morning Only Monday–Friday, 7:30–9:30 a.m. | 10 hours/week The morning role would typically include:

• Preparing breakfast for the children
• Helping them get organized and ready for school
• Making sure they have everything they need for the day
• Driving them to school, approximately five minutes from our home
• Returning to our home after drop-off and tidying up from the morning routine
• Light child-related household tasks as time allows

Option 2: Afternoon Only Monday–Friday, 3:00–5:30 p.m. | 12.5 hours/week The afternoon role would typically include:

• Arriving at our home at 3:00 p.m. and helping with light preparation before pickup
• Picking the children up from school at 3:30 p.m.
• Preparing an after-school snack
• Spending time with and supervising them until we finish work or return home
• Children’s laundry and organization as needed
• Light dinner preparation or tidying when time allows

School ends at 3:30 p.m., so reliable and punctual pickup every weekday is an important requirement of the afternoon position. Option 3: Combined Nanny / Family Support Role Approximately 25 guaranteed hours/week, with additional hours available For someone interested in a larger role, we would be happy to combine the morning and afternoon schedules and guarantee 25 paid hours per week. The core childcare schedule would include the morning and afternoon responsibilities above. The remaining hours could be used flexibly for household and family support, including:

• Children’s and family laundry
• Meal and dinner preparation
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Cleaning and household organization
• Other general household support

For the right candidate looking for more hours, we would also be open to discussing a 30 hour/week arrangement. What We’re Looking For Above all, we are looking for someone who is dependable, warm and genuinely enjoys spending time with school-aged children. We value someone who takes initiative, communicates well and is comfortable taking ownership of the children’s routine. Candidates must:

• Have previous childcare experience
• Have a valid driver’s licence and their own reliable vehicle
• Be comfortable driving children
• Have current CPR/First Aid certification
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be able to provide references

Mileage associated with transporting the children or completing family errands will be reimbursed. We are hoping to find someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our family’s weekday routine and ideally stay with us longer term.
