French Bilingual Underwriting Operational Support Specialist - Personal Lines

Location: Winnipeg, MB
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $29.00/hour

Staffmax is currently hiring an Underwriting Operational Support Specialist – Personal Lines for our client, a well-established organization in the insurance industry. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting underwriting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Personal Lines underwriting activities by processing broker and internal requests efficiently and accurately.
• Review and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
• Support internal departments and business partners with evolving operational needs.
• Assist with strategic initiatives, including system enhancements, testing activities, and process improvements.
• Maintain productivity standards and meet established service-level expectations and KPIs.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving data, workflows, and system applications.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaboration to support operational excellence.
• Stay informed on industry regulations, market trends, and operational best practices.
• Adapt effectively to changing priorities and business requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Completion of, or progress toward, a CIP designation is considered an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Bilingual English/French is considered an asset.
