Cross Connection Control Program Coordinator
(REGULAR, FULL-TIME)The North Okanagan is an exceptional place to live, work and explore. We have an immediate opening for the regular, full-time position of Cross Connection Control Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a degree in science, engineering, water resource management, or a related field and hold a valid BC driver’s license. You have four years of experience related to water in local government or public health, and have completed Bylaw Compliance, Enforcement & Investigative Skills Level 1. You possess excellent organizational, computer, communication and conflict resolution skills. Reporting to the Manager, Water Quality, the Cross Connection Control Program Coordinator administers and enforces the Cross Connection Control Program and regulatory bylaw. The position works closely with field staff and the Cross Connection Control Inspector to identify potential risks and priority inspection sites.
