• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
• The flexibility to work evenings and weekends for designated programs or events
• Competent computer skills and strong organizational, time management and administrative skills
• Strong liaison skills to develop connections within the community
• Experience in supervision, fundraising and community outreach
• 7-12 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Focuses on existing & developing partnerships with churches, community agencies, & schools  
• Identifying, inspiring & engaging volunteers will also be an essential aspect of the role
• Direct ministry to youth
• Supervision of a staff team
• Program management
• Operational & personal funding

We simply want to be there … a trusted friend, to come alongside youth and help them sort it out.  A Community Director plays a key role in developing and maintaining programs for youth, building community partnerships, and staying connected to the youth.  Specifically, we are looking for new Community Directors to support the communities of Erin, Grand Valley & Huntsville.

This is a full time position (35-40 hours/week).  The starting salary range for this staff position is $44,500 to $48,000.  It is determined on a scale based on education and experience (7-12 years) and is 100% funded on a missionary basis—requiring the gathering of a personal support team to cover the salary.  Benefits are available.
