Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary office is actively hiring for an HR Intern to join the team. This position reports to the Supervisor, People Program Execution in the Human Resources Service Unit (HSU), part of Pembina’s Corporate Services Division. This role plays an integral part in ensuring that HR can deliver on its strategic objectives by working across the department to support key initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

This position will support three main teams: Talent Programs Execution, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Services in the Human Resources Service Unit (HSU).

This is a 12-month co-op term starting in January 2027.

The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Perform role‑specific responsibilities such as coordinating learning and leadership programs, assisting with cyclical Talent Program execution, supporting summer student recruitment activities, responding to employee and leader inquiries through ServiceNow, maintaining knowledge resources, executing employee lifecycle transactions in SuccessFactors, and identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes through AI, automation, and digital solutions. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term;
• Support day‑to‑day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as SuccessFactors, SharePoint, Pembina’s Intranet, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems;
• Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
• Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and
• Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.

Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field would be considered an asset. Familiarity with HR systems, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, low-code/no-code tools, AI, automation, reporting, or digital process improvement would also be beneficial;
• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
• Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations. 

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check. 

This position is scheduled to be posted until end of day: 10/07/2026. In rare circumstances, a position may be posted for less time if there has been significant interest in the role.
