Role Summary
The Automation Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications. The role requires strong expertise in automation tools, programming languages, CI/CD integration, and Agile delivery practices to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Build and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications
- Develop automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and related tools
- Automate API validation using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate
CI/CD Integration
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure stable and reliable automated execution across environments
- Support continuous testing initiatives
Quality Assurance
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Analyze test results and identify defects
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
- Review requirements for quality and testability
- Maintain test environments, test data, and execution reports
Agile Collaboration
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams
- Mentor junior QA engineers
- Promote automation best practices across teams
Experience Required
- 6–8 years of Quality Engineering / Test Automation experience
- Strong hands-on automation framework development experience
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
