ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Residence Clerk is responsible for clerical functions, operations and communication within the resident home areas.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience:

• Post-secondary education in office administration, business, or other related program

Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

• Physical capability to perform the duties of the position

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow direction from multiple program staff

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize varied tasks and meet deadlines while supporting multiple stakeholders

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with sound judgment, tact, and professionalism

• Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of all records, actions, and information

• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with well-developed interpersonal and organizational abilities

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

• Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Conditions of Employment:

• This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
