Manager of Pre-Construction at York Precast

Drive the lifecycle of precast concrete projects at York Precast as the Manager of Pre-Construction & Delivery. Oversee estimating, project coordination, and installation to ensure timely and safe execution. This managerial role is essential for the delivery of precast projects, combining pre-construction planning through installation and project closeout. The position requires expertise in estimating, technical services, procurement, and project management. The Manager will also contribute to building systems, processes, and workflows to scale operations for York Precast. Key Responsibilities:
- Own full bid cycle including scope reviews and proposal submissions
- Prepare professional proposals and maintain pricing data
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and coordination across projects
- Schedule transportation and logistics for timely delivery
- Lead field installation teams ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- 8+ years in precast or construction industry experience
- Strong background in estimating and project management
- Familiarity with contract administration and change order management
- Ability to read structural drawings and specs
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License for site travel
