Construction Cost Estimator Position

Join the dynamic world of construction as a Construction Cost Estimator, where your skills in calculating labor and material costs play a critical role. Engage with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project estimates. This permanent full-time position requires 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction. You will prepare detailed cost estimates based on blueprints, create estimate reports, and advise on tendering procedures. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential to succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare labor and material cost estimates
- Create pre-qualification submissions for clients
- Read blueprints and specifications accurately
- Generate estimate reports, bid forms, and quotes
- Analyze tenders and recommend awards
- 3 to 5 years of relevant construction experience
- Certificate or diploma in a related trade
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
