Job Responsibility:
Display Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients, internal team and contractors all facets of the project.
- Supervise the work of craftsmen, carpenters, graphics designers, lighting and animatronic technicians in building the window display.
- Involvement in all stages of display development.
- Supervise in the installation of prefabricated window display elements as designed.
Display Coordinator Skills and Specifications
- Excellent supervisory and organizing as well as project management skills.
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Must be highly creative, with an understanding of marketing and promotional aspects of product displays
- Must be constantly abreast with popular trends in fashion and retail.
Display Coordinator Education and Qualifications
- While a high school diploma is adequate for entry level positions, more employers prefer candidates with a college degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic Arts or Applied Industrial Arts.
- But a degree cant' replace an artistic eye and a portfolio of implemented window displays is a must. A few years of experience in the design department for commercial application is an advantage
- Must have knowledge of various materials as well as familiarity with power tools, basic construction techniques, and installation is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
