Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for managing the front-of-house staff, coordinating with the kitchen team, and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front-of-house employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee the operation of the POS system for accurate order processing and payment handling.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in developing promotional events or special menus to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food industry standards is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and staff alike.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with various restaurant software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
