Spanish-Speaking Nanny / Family Assistant for Two Young Boys

We’re looking for a warm, dependable and energetic full-time Spanish-speaking nanny/family assistant to become a long-term part of our family and help care for my two boys, ages 5 and 4. The regular schedule will be Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. Our oldest is in Kindergarten and our youngest is in preschool. Mornings will involve helping the boys get ready for the day, preparing what they need for school, and driving them to school. You’ll also handle afternoon pick-ups and spend time with them after school — playing, keeping them active, preparing meals and snacks, and helping with their normal routines. While the boys are at school, we’d love help keeping the household running smoothly. This would include general cleaning and tidying, laundry, keeping the kitchen organized, preparing the boys’ lunches/meals, walking our dog once a day, and occasionally helping with errands or grocery shopping. Fluent Spanish is very important to us. Our children attend a Spanish bilingual school, and we want Spanish to become a natural part of their everyday lives. We’d love someone who will regularly speak Spanish with them, play with them in Spanish, and help reinforce what they’re learning at school. Because school drop-offs and pick-ups are part of the position, you’ll need a valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and good driving record. We may eventually provide a dedicated vehicle for work use for the right candidate. There may occasionally be an opportunity for additional/overtime hours, but these would be discussed ahead of time and would never be mandatory. If you’re available and would like the extra hours, great; if not, no problem. We also travel as a family and would love to have our nanny join us on future family vacations. Travel would be planned well in advance and discussed together. Most importantly, we’re looking for the right person for our family. We don’t want this to feel like you’re simply coming to work every day as an employee. We hope to find someone our boys become close with, someone we trust completely, and someone who genuinely feels like part of our family over time. Compensation will be discussed during the interview based on experience and fit, with the opportunity for an increase after the first few months.
