Responsibilities

• Station Setup & Prep: Set up, stock, and organize workstations with all necessary ingredients, sauces, and equipment prior to service.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and portion controls.
• Order Execution: Read tickets accurately and execute food orders efficiently in coordination with the rest of the line to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, hygienic workstation throughout the shift; strictly follow proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature control regulations.
• Stock & Inventory: Store and rotate food products properly using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Team Communication: Coordinate effectively with the kitchen manager, head chef, and front-of-house staff to handle special dietary requests or order modifications.
• Shift Breakdown: Clean and sanitize station, equipment, and kitchen areas thoroughly at the end of every shift.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years of experience working as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar back-of-house role preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying, baking) and proper knife skills.
• Food Safety: Knowledge of health department rules and proper food handling procedures (Food Handler's / ServSafe Certification is a plus).
• Speed & Stamina: Ability to work quickly and maintain composure in a high-volume, high-pressure environment. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
