VP of Finance for Canadian Services

Elevate your career with Oakbridge Search Partners as the VP of Finance in a multifaceted Canadian services organization. Lead financial management, reporting, and controls while building new processes from the ground up in a hybrid work environment. We're searching for a visionary VP of Financial Planning and Analysis with 8 to 12 years of finance experience, including 3 to 5 in a senior role. As a financial builder, you will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and auditing processes. This role demands technical accounting proficiency, strong strategic insight, and the ability to work hands-on when needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Own financial tracking and reporting for leadership
- Build and maintain budgets while monitoring variances
- Lead the annual audit process and treasury management
- Design processes and implement internal controls
- Collaborate with Project Managers for planning input
- 8 to 12 years in finance, with 3 to 5 in leadership
- Experience with ASPE and annual audits
- Strong accounting and Canadian tax knowledge
- Proficient with accounting software and Excel
- Background in project-based financial management
