Split-shift nanny for our 4-year-old — Mon–Fri, $20/hr to start, Alta Vista/Ottawa South area in Ottawa, Ontario. We're looking for a reliable, long-term nanny to help with our 4-year-old and keep the house running. He's in school full days, so the regular schedule is a split shift, Monday to Friday: Mornings, 7:00–10:...: make his breakfast, get him dressed and ready, take him to school, then breakfast dishes and general tidying. Afternoons, 3:15–7:30: pick him up at 3:30, shower/bath, make and give him dinner, kitchen cleanup before you head out. Important: on days he's home sick or school is closed (PD days, snow days), the day becomes one continuous 7:00am–7:30pm shift where every hour paid. 40 hours/week, starting at $20/hr with a raise review after the first 3 months. We have a 13 year old who looks after himself; the little guy is the main job. You'd be a great fit if you have real experience with young kids, cook simple family meals confidently, don't mind keeping things tidy, and want something stable long-term.
