Factory Finance Lead

About the position
Your Role!
This position will be based in Brantford, Canada managing the cheese production process including end to end COGS impact for products manufactured on site. The role will partner with the Supply Leader and management team at the site, the business leads for the cheese business in North America and globally and the Head of SC Finance, North America. This role is instrumental in the delivery of Manufacturing/Operation sourcing projects and target achievement including productivity, and as such, is a key element in the Upfield SC strategy. This role reports to the Factory Finance Manager at the site.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial accuracy for Plant processes - accounting, generate and review journal entries.
- Deliver Investment analysis - Profitability, Pay-back, Cash flow and business impact.
- Account for CAPEX Investment & asset capitalization.
- Establish controls for Investment funds via Internal orders, purchase orders and invoice processing.
- Provide partnering to multiple stakeholders on Brand related discussions.
- Category end-to-end Brand reporting for maturing brand.
- Project management and accounting for Innovation products.
- COGS reporting and KPI analysis and review.
- Participate in review and implementation of controls, Inventory & waste management.
- Month-end variance analysis.
- Deliver Brand forecast - Annual, quarterly & monthly.
About you!
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and Accounting Certification.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate analytical skills.
- SAP experience an asset.
