The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and driven Chef to join the culinary team at House of McGrath. You will help run daily kitchen operations, lead by example on the line, and uphold the quality and consistency our guests expect. This is an excellent next step for a culinary professional ready to take on more responsibility in a serious kitchen.

What You'll Do

•      Help oversee daily kitchen operations to keep service smooth and standards high

•      Prepare and cook dishes to House of McGrath recipes and presentation standards

•      Lead on the line during service, guiding and supporting the kitchen team

•      Monitor inventory and assist with ordering to keep the kitchen well stocked and efficient

•      Uphold food handling, storage and sanitation practices in line with food safety regulations

•      Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen at all times

What You Bring

•      Proven experience in a fast-paced, quality-focused restaurant kitchen

•      Strong technique in food preparation, cooking and plating

•      Natural leadership, clear communication and a team-first approach

•      Composure and attention to detail under pressure

•      Thorough knowledge of food safety standards; Ontario Food Handler certification, or willingness to obtain it

•      Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
