Sr Account Executive, Professional Services (Toronto)

Job Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business outcomes and articulate accelerated customer outcomes through cloud transformation.
- Execute long‑term strategic customer transformation roadmaps, delivering results in ProServe and Platform bookings.
- Develop a unified account plan and pursuit plan that aligns with the AWS account team (direct sales).
- Establish executive relationships across business & technology groups and secure executive sponsorship of programs.
- Build an internal network at AWS with account team, partner team, global services, finance, legal.
- Act as strategic advisor and expert with deep knowledge of customers’ business and the cloud ecosystem.
- Deliver annual bookings, revenue, and customer satisfaction targets with deal structures aligned to defined customer outcomes and ProServe objectives.
- Support scaling through shared learnings and mechanisms across the ProServe team.
Day in the Life
- Lead business development efforts and engage Canadian customers for high‑value engagements.
- Establish executive relationships across technology & business groups; act as strategic advisor.
- Collaborate with Amazon Global Sales representatives to coordinate key accounts.
- Create proposals, secure customer sign‑off on Statements of Work, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure delivery of agreed CBOs and maximize revenue potential.
- Advocate for customers while balancing AWS business objectives.
This customer‑facing role may require up to 50% travel to customer sites.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of technology sales experience.
- Experience working with or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions‑focused approach.
- Experience presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of business across organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that impact business.
- Ability to understand and articulate AWS services and solutions.
Compensation
Base salary range: 123,600.00 – 206,300.00 CAD annually.
