Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Development Lead to provide technical leadership and day‑to‑day guidance for a small team of software developers building and supporting business‑critical engineering applications. This role is strategic and hands‑on: partner with stakeholders, shape technical direction, mentor developers, and contribute to modern .NET‑based services and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team of developers through guidance, mentoring, code reviews, and coordination.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, clarify requirements, and translate them into solutions.
• Define the team’s technical roadmap, delivery priorities, and release expectations.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable services and applications using .NET technologies.
• Define technical approaches, architectural patterns, and development standards.
• Lead code reviews and promote best practices in testing, design, and development.
• Collaborate with QA and cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot defects and improve release quality.
• Evolve existing engineering tools and services.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and design patterns.

Qualifications and Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Experience designing and supporting RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
• Experience leading technical work for a team, including mentoring, code reviews, and delivery planning.
• Strong ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, technical judgment, and focus on quality and maintainability.
• Experience with Git‑based workflows and collaborative development practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Azure and cloud‑native development practices.
• Experience in manufacturing, product configuration, engineering software, or similar domains.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical systems, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
