Title: Business System Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON- Currently 2 Days onsite but expecting to be 4 days office soon
Duration: 12 Months – with possible extension
The successful candidate should be able to understand the products, own requirements, and work closely with development teams.
Unlike a traditional BA focused on documentation, this role requires someone who can engage with stakeholders, provide product direction, answer functional questions, and help solve business problems.
Daily Responsibilities
- Meet with development teams to discuss and clarify requirements.
- Respond to functional and product-related questions from development teams.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand desk requests, issues, and enhancement needs.
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology.
- Analyze problems and provide product-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements for development teams.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience with Rates and/or FX (Foreign Exchange) products.
- Solid understanding of Capital Markets, preferably within a Front Office environment.
- Experience supporting electronic trading (eTrading) or trading platforms.
- Ability to understand complex financial products and explain business requirements to technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills with both business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Experience working directly with Sales and Traders, including post-trade processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
